This guide will walk you through the process of cancelling your Obsidian Servers service and explain what happens after your cancellation request.

Submitting a Cancellation Request

  1. Log into your billing account here.
  2. Navigate to the Services tab
  3. Select the specific service you wish to cancel
  4. In the Actions section, click on Request Cancellation

Providing Cancellation Details

On the cancellation request page, you'll need to:

  • Write a reason for cancellation (highly recommended)
  • Choose when you want the cancellation to take effect:
    • Immediately
    • At the end of your current billing period

What Happens Next

  • All cancellation requests take up to 12 hours to process
  • Our team may contact you regarding your request, which could extend the processing time
  • If we don't receive a response from you within 72 hours, we'll automatically proceed with the cancellation request
  • If you cancel within 14 days of purchase, you will automatically qualify for a refund in line with our 14 day money back guarantee stated in our terms & conditions.

Refund Information

  • If a refund is due, it will be backdated to the date of your cancellation request (not the processing date)
  • Refunds typically take 5-10 working days to process, depending on your bank or payment method
  • If you prefer, you can request to have your refund processed as account credit instead by noting this in the reason box—this credit will be applied instantly once we approve your cancellation
