Adding Users to Your Obsidian Servers Billing Account

This guide explains how to add additional users to your Obsidian Servers billing account. Adding users allows you to grant others access to manage billing information, view invoices, and handle payments without sharing your primary account credentials.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Log in to the Obsidian Servers billing system using your primary account credentials

  2. Click on your name in the top right corner to open the dropdown menu

  3. Select "User Management" from the dropdown options

  4. Click the "Invite New User" button

  5. Enter the new user's email address in the provided field

  6. Set the appropriate permissions for this user by either:

    • Selecting "All Permissions" to grant full access, or
    • Customizing individual permissions:
      • Modify Master Account Profile
      • View & Manage Contacts
      • View Products & Services
      • View & Modify Product Passwords
      • Perform Single Sign-On
      • View Domains
      • Manage Domain Settings
      • View & Pay Invoices
      • View & Accept Quotes
      • View & Open Support Tickets
      • View & Manage Affiliate Account
      • View Emails
      • Place New Orders/Upgrades/Cancellations
  7. Click "Send Invite" to complete the process

Understanding Permissions

When adding users, carefully consider which permissions to grant:

  • Modify Master Account Profile: Allows changes to your main account information
  • View & Pay Invoices: Enables access to view and make payments on invoices
